Disabling & Enabling the WeSync Conduits
1. Disabling the WeSync Conduits
- Click the HotSync Manager 'tray' icon (to the left of the clock display on your Windows desktop)
- Click 'Custom'
- Double-click the 'WeSync Calendars' or 'WeSync Contacts' conduit entry
- Click the 'Do nothing" radio button
- Click the "Set as default' button
Note: If you do not 'Set as default', the conduit setting will be in effect for the next sync only.
- Click 'Done'
- Repeat for the other WeSync conduit, if desired
2. Enabling the WeSync Conduits
- Click the HotSync Manager 'tray' icon (to the left of the clock display on your Windows desktop)
- Click 'Custom'
- Double-click the 'WeSync Calendars' conduit entry
- Click one of the following radio buttons:
- Synchronize the files
This is the default setting.
- Desktop overwrites handheld
This 'restore' setting means the data resulting from the WeSync Server syncing with the WeSync Desktop will overwrite the handheld
- Handheld overwrites Desktop
The data synced between the WeSync Server and the handheld overwrites the WeSync Desktop
- Click the "Set as default' button to make the setting 'permanent'
Note: If you do not 'Set as default', the conduit setting will be in effect for the next sync only.
- Click 'Done'
- Repeat for the WeSync Contacts conduit, if desired
Note: The 'restore / overwrite' capability will be added to WeSync Contacts in a future release
