Unsubscribe from Contact Categories before deleting & reinstalling wsContacts on your handheld to avoid duplication of contacts in subscribed categories
Duplication of contacts in subscribed categories can occur if you delete & re-install wsContacts without un-subscribing to those resources first.
This only applies to you if you want to delete and reinstall wsContacts on your handheld when you are already subscribed to Contact Categories with WeSync. Simply upgrading wsContacts, which installs a new version on top of the existing version, does not cause the error. Note that if you will be performing a Hard Reset of your handheld, this recommendation does apply to you as well.
If you are going to delete and reinstall wsContacts on your handheld, AND you are also subscribed to Contact Categories with WeSync, you should first unsubscribe to the resources on the website and HotSync your handheld & sync to server before deleting wsContacts. When wsContacts is reinstalled, you can go back to the website and re-subscribe to the resources you had previously & re-sync to the server. This avoids duplication of contacts in subscribed categories.

Modem Refresh feature not recommended for Palm OS 2.0.5
For Palm Pilots running OS 2.0.5, Modem Refresh is not recommended. Performing a Modem Refresh is a memory intensive operation, therefore we recommend using this feature only if you have Palm OS 3.0 or higher.

Wireless Refresh limitation on requests larger than 5 K
There are known problems with attempting to Wireless Refresh for excessively large amounts of data over 5 K. If there is a substantial amount of information you are trying to sync wirelessly, we recommend changing the Refresh Range to one day at a time or HotSync-ing your handheld in lieu of Wireless Refresh.

Known Memory Leaks in the WeSync Desktop Viewer & Tray applications
WeSync Desktop applications may degrade system resources over time. Exiting and restarting the WeSync applications on your desktop will free up system resources. Note that the WeSync tray application starts automatically every time you HotSync your handheld.

Unsubscribe & resubscribe procedures for Calendars
When un-subscribing and re-subscribing to the same Calendar, events on the subscribed calendar in question may disappear. To avoid this situation, when you unsubscribe from a Calendar resource on the handheld, desktop or website, HotSync your handheld and sync to server before resubscribing to the resource on the website. WeSync keeps information in sync in three places: your handheld, desktop, and the WeSync Server. As a general rule, if you make changes to your resources in one area, it is a good idea to sync these changes up before re-subscribing to a resource.

Datebook3 Categories Reported Deleted
Selecting 3rd Party PIM in the WeSync PIM SYNC settings will allow you to avoid a problem where the HotSync Manager will sometimes report that DateBk3 categories have been deleted, though in reality they were not deleted.
Note: If you sync to the Palm Desktop, and have selected the 3rd Party PIM sync setting for the DateBk3 workaround described above, you will need to perform two HotSyncs in order to update the Palm Desktop Date Book and Address Book for changes made externally from the WeSync Desktop Viewer and the WeSync Server.
