Un-Installing WeSync

1.  Remove WeSync from Your Desktop

  • Launch the Windows Control Panel (Start > Settings > Control Panel)
  • Launch the Add/Remove Programs application
  • Double-click or select 'WeSync.com WeSync'
  • Click 'Add Remove'
  • Click 'OK' in response to the 'Are you sure…' dialog
  • Delete the c:\Palm\<username>\WeSync folder
  • Shut down & restart your computer

    Important Note for Intellisync Users
    If you use Intellisync to synchronize your handheld with a 3rd party PIM (such as Microsoft Outlook), please note that using Add/Remove Programs to uninstall WeSync can cause the Intellisync conduits to become damaged. Until we fix this problem, the solution is to:

  • Uninstall both the Palm Desktop Software and Intellisync
  • Delete the directories for each application
  • Shut down & restart your computer
  • Reinstall Palm Desktop Software, then Intellisync

2.  Delete WeSync from Your Handheld

  1. From the main handheld applications screen, tap the built-in Menu icon
  2. Tap 'Delete' under the 'App' menu
  3. Select 'wsCalendars', tap 'Delete' then 'Yes'
  4. Repeat for 'wsContacts'
  5. Tap 'Done'
